| This page is envisioned as a clearinghouse for evidence relating to Honduras and the Nicaragua-Honduras borderlands. Right now there's just three links: (1) to a paper to be presented at the January 2008 annual CLAH meeting in Washington, accompanied by (2) an Excel file that goes along with the paper, and (3) evidence documenting borderlands unrest for the period 1919-1926. 1. "The Vexatious Frontier Question: Capital, Coercion, and Sovereignty in the Western Nicaragua-Honduras Borderlands, 1919-1936" (click on title for MS Word file; for an Excel file that charts episodes of military mobilization in the borderlands during this period, click here). 3. Military Mobilization in the Tegucigalpa-León-Managua Corridor, 1821-1927 (forthcoming). 4. Offsite link to Tim Merrill, ed., Honduras: A Country Study, Honduras (1995).
