This is the homepage
for some 100 Web pages
that (will eventually) house about 1,000
Marine-Guardia patrol and combat reports that begin in earnest in July
1927 and continue through December 1932. These are among the most
remarkable documents produced during the US invasion and occupation.
The level of detail, the spontaneity, the fine-grained descriptions of landscapes,
people, and events can be breathtaking. Together these reports
offer invaluable insights on virtually every aspect of the struggle.
All spelling, orthography, and formatting correspond to the originals,
except for some obvious typos.
Each PC-Docs Page contains around 10
individual reports. Some reports are more than 40 pages long,
though they average about 2½ typescript pages. Right now the first
14 PC-Docs Pages house around 120 reports, taking events up to May 1928.
To facilitate
navigation, the following
index appears on the bottom of each PC-Docs page:

All
individual reports can be accessed via
two master inventories. One is this Excel file:
Master Inventory of PC Reports (Excel file)
The second master inventory appears here (boldface signifies report of "military contact,"
defined as an episode in which firearms are discharged by both sides):
