Plan de Ataque al Ocotal

PLAN DE ATAQUE AL OCOTAL. 

Coronel P. Sanchez H.   Las companias de los Jefes, Coronel Sanchez y Mayor Quezada. 

Atacaran:  la primera, a la contabularia y la segunda a los yankees en sus cuarteles. 

Coronel Simon Jiron y Capitan Colindres atacaran el campo de aviacion y pondran 5 lbs de dinamita en la maquina de cada uno de los aviones; tambien cobaran 5 hoyos en el campo, y pondran 5 lbs de dinamita en cada uno, con cinco pies de guia cada uno y despues todo volara por los aires. 

General Salgado, se encargara en sacar de las casas particulares a todos los responsables que esten escondidos. 

Cada soldado tiene la obligacion de sacar 2 rifles equipados; es decir, el de el, y otro mas; lo mismo cada compania sacara lo que mas pueda de los elementos de guerra. 

El ataque sera el viernes a la 1 de la manana para amanecer el sabado. 

De Ocotal saldremos a las 6 a.m., y rumbo a San Fernando. 

Se prohibe tomar licor, y el que lo haga, yo lo recibire como un desprecio a nuestra patria.  Rufo se pondrá en tapada en el camino de Honduras.   10 numeros de la compania de Salgado quedaran en la entrada de Totogalpa a Ocotal.

English Translation

Plan to Attack Ocotal.

The Companies of Chiefs, Colonel Sanchez and Major Quezada.

SHALL ATTACK:  The first one to the Constabulary and the second to the YANKEES in their quarters. 

Colonel Simon Jiron and Captain Colindres shall attack the aviation camp and shall put five pounds of dynamite into the machine of each one of the airplanes, shall also dig five holes in the camp, and shall put five pounds of dynamite in each one, with five feet of fuse to each one and then everything will be thrown far up into the air.

General Salgado shall be in charge of dragging out of the houses all of the responsible people who may be hidden.

Each soldier has the obligation of bearing two rifles equipped that is today, his and one more, likewise every company shall carry the greatest possible amount of war implements. 

The attack shall be Friday at one o'clock a.m. with direction to San Fernando. 

It is prohibited to drink liquor and the one who does so, I shall receive it as if it were an outrage to our country.  Rufo shall be hidden in the road to Honduras.  Ten members of Salgado's company will remain at the entrance of Totogalpa to Ocotal.

Dear Friend: 

The note that I attach is for you to send to Quilali today if possible.  The runner whom I send should go mounted because it is urgent that it reach the General.  I received what you sent me.  If there is any rifle already fixed send it to me, the same as the bugle and send me two glasses of Fellows Syrup.  Today the communication from here to San Fernando was installed and in a telegram of today they tell us that in the battle of Ocotal several Machos and Constabularies died and there were many wounded.  That note should be sent today, it is very important.
