My dear correligionario:
 
     I hope you are in good health in union with your companions.  I further desire to ask you to exempt from the Guard service señor José Vilquéz, because these men bring foodstuffs daily to this camp.  You may ask for your foodstuffs from the Juez de Mesta who is obliged to send them directly to your camp in accordance with a General Order of this Command.  I hope you help me in this matter.
