   Ladies [Señoras]:

The enemy is near. I just received the news from my spies. And for this reason no one except the soldiers can go out.

Señor Captain Concepción Villegas:

My dear Companion and Friend,

Five ladies [señoras] are passing who are going to Neptune. Do not molest them. I have confidence in you.

     (NOT SIGNED).

Summary & Notes:

English translations only.  Seized at Neptune Mine, June 1930, and all translated and archived together.  NA127/220/2.

Very likely all from Pedrón, the latter two safe conduct passes (undated) for women -- in the first case four women, in the second case case five women -- probably the same group -- on their way to their homes Neptune Mine.  All the evidence demonstrates that Pedrón had a zero-tolerance policy for sexual abuse of women and girls.
