Esteemed Señora:

          Now I have the honor to write you these few lines wishing that in receipt of same you are enjoying good health in union with all the family.

     The boys Pedro Ramon, Chano, and Candelario, and myself are all in good health by the will of God, only regretting for those who are suffering smallpox, and God will take care of them, meanwhile I will return from my trip which I think will be pretty soon.

     I recommend you to take good care of your health, and not to make any mistake.
