Dear friends and companions.
Invested with the legal representation of this
command and the staff of the same, General
Echevarria will let you know your instructions
of incorporation in the Forces of the Defenders
of the National Right, which embody the real
principles of Homeland and Liberty, represented
by the puritante forces of the Liberal Party. At
the same time he will give you instructions
which we will develop in activity of hostility
against the invaders of our country.
This occasion serves me to send you the most
effusive and cordial salutations for the
glorious adventure which in these moments you
represent before the majesty of the homeland,
the Party and our loyal coreligionists, the same
as before the gesture of the Race. Accept my
congratulations and may history take notice of
you, accenting your names in its glorious pages,
immortalizing you as real and abnegated
patriots. At the same time you may rest assured
that with due formalities I will make known your
incorporation to your Army by a general order.
