San Rafael del Norte, 5 January 1928.
Señor
Gregorio Sandino, Managua.
Kindly Father-in-law:
Today I received the answer for General Feland, there
is hope for Augusto to surrender, these
communications are private. I believe
there will be more conferences in my home soon,
pray to God, Augusto told me to let you know
about this and also to his mother Sra.
Margarita, so she will console herself. I
am very glad, because there will be no more
blood spilled, thank the Lord for that, and we
will be in peace, they all tell me that they
cannot write because they don't have time, but
they will write at the first opportunity.
Warmest greetings to Sra Margarita and América
and my mother-in-law and the rest of the family.
Very Kindly, I am of Yours,
/s/ Blanca Sandino
