General Echeverría,
His Outpost.
I received information that a patrol that left
yesterday from that outpost came to the house of
Nicolás
Olivera and took everything he had, even some
money. This man is serving us and has
sacrificed himself. You should tell them
that in that place all the inhabitants serve us
and for that reason it is not acceptable to
bother them in any way. When you want
cattle you can go and get it at Juan Zamora's
because there we have cattle. So that you
must not permit them to molest anyone because we
should not give a bad example nor do the same as
the Cachurecos.
