General Manuel Echeverría:

In my possession are the documents that you sent by express mail carrier. The time is 2:25 p.m. I am sending you the answer to the fellow who wants to have the conference with me. I am sending a copy of the message and you read it to the armies. The chief of the Liberty [Liberal] Army recommend for himself and giving all to the country and the army. To Misses Matamoros and Tercero please give my regards.
